Tulix Systems Announces Its International Broadcasters Streaming Initiative

Tulix offers a streaming platform perfect for satellite delivered Radio and TV channels. It has been successful in submitting clients to Roku for added audience reach.


Sep 19, 2011 - Atlanta, GA September 19, 2011 – Tulix Systems, Inc. CTO, Dr. Nino Doijashvili announced the company’s plans to offer HD quality streaming to international radio and television channels via the Tulix Streaming Platform. "We are currently working with several channels that utilize the Galaxy 19 and SES-1 satellites and their signal distribution source and can work with any other channel delivered by any other satellite” said Dr. Doijashvili.

"We are taking their signal, encoding/transcoding it and offering it to the world via PC/Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android, BlackBerry and other popular tablet devices. ” she continued. The Tulix Streaming platform can also offer streaming in Adobe Flash, Microsoft Windows Media, and Microsoft Silverlight and can provide on-demand programming as well as an on-line digital video recorded application so channel viewer can actually record content for viewing later.

The stations Tulix is currently working with include: The Word Network, 2M Morocco, Sudan TV and Rustavi 2 the most popular commercial television channel in The Republic of Georgia. Through Tulix Rustavi 2 was submitted and accepted by Roku. "It is now gaining added international viewership through the complete Tulix Streaming package.

Tulix Streaming platform can simultaneously converting a channel’s stream to multiple formats and at multiple bitrates for each specific target and network condition: TVs, tablets, mobile phones. It offers true streaming for prerecorded content and can eliminate many in-house hardware requirements for these TV channels. Doijashvili feels that channels can, "Take advantage of our load-balanced, high-bandwidth network for final media distribution to their end user. This should help you generate revenue by monetizing your video content.”
