TULIX SIGNS TWO

ATLANTA - October 11, 2004, Tulix Systems, Inc. signed service agreements with two cable television/high speed Internet providers, Buford Media Group dba Allegiance Communications LLC, Tyler, TX and Hyperband Networks, Atlanta, GA. today. Buford and Hyperband will include Tulix's CommunityTM web space tools as part of their subscribers' packages.

Allegiance Communications, LLC, recently purchased 69 cable systems serving more than 54,000 subscribers from Cox Communications in Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Arkansas and Missouri. Most of the systems are located in smaller cities and rural areas. Community will infuse the recently transitioned customers with a home-town flavor and will embody their commitment to "do everything we can to be excellent corporate citizens of the cities and towns we serve."

Hyperband Networks provides high-speed internet service and other technology amenities to the multi-family residential market. Their primary mode of service delivery is via cable modem, and they have experience in delivering high speed connectivity through other delivery methods such as DSL, Ethernet, and Wireless technologies. Hyperband partners with private cable operators, property management agencies, and MDU (Multi-dwelling Unit) owners to fulfill the need to have a comprehensive ancillary service offering. Their mission is to provide each of one of their partners with a competitive advantage in the marketplace, and to provide each resident with a premiere high speed internet experience.

Using the Community software application, Internet subscribers from both companies will have the opportunity to instantly create personal web sites and have access to tools that allow them to create web pages using existing templates, communicate and engage in on-line commerce. Some of Community's more popular features allow users to create media galleries and share digital video footage, photo albums and create weblogs or blogs.

According to Tulix VP sales and Marketing Paul Flack, "Community has been developed over the past four years as a tool for Internet Service Providers to bond with their customers by letting their customers bond with each other. It is the cyber-equivalent to a home-town coffee shop or other neighborhood gathering place."

Community Version 3.5 has been developed over a period of six years working with large and small ISPs. Speed, reliability and price are the traditional battlefields for ISP marketing, however, Community brings an added dimension that ISP's can efficiently promote as a point of differentiation for their services. Its modular nature allows it to attach to virtually any existing ISP start page. Because customers invest time in building and using their web sites, it also endears them and makes them less likely to change providers.
